Your son or daughter have set the date for the biggest day of their life, it should be a time for excitement and celebration but when it comes to what to wear, the majority of mum’s feel quite nervous. Occasionwear deliveries are seasonal, with Spring-Summer collections arriving in-store between December and March, and Autumn-Winter collections from August to October. These styles cannot be repeated and can sell out quickly.

You should ideally start shopping for your mother of the bride/groom outfit at least 6 to 8 months before the date of the wedding which then leaves time for alterations to be made, but for the best choice, we strongly recommend looking in January or February for a summer wedding, or October for a winter wedding . Please do bear in mind that sometimes the optimum time to buy, may actually be the year before your function.
